Importing from Radio Reference

Importing from Radio Reference

Postby Rchjr » Sat Oct 15, 2011 11:00 pm

Bob,

Hi there,

I have a valid premium subscription to Radio Reference, I have not downloaded anything from them using pro scan for a long time. Under the " select " button " Country" is the only search option I have, all the other options are greyed out. . Before when I conected to Radio Reference these options were available to download by county, system ect. Did they change how they do this? The RR web page is available to click on but I dont know if that is how you import info from them to your program. Sorry if this does not make sense! It even tells me that my subscription is valid till 4-12-2012.

Hi there again Bob,

Since I posted last I have upgraded my operating system to windows 7 64 bit, now when I when I try to import something from Radio Reference the import tab does nothing! It does not give me an opportunity to import from them. What am I doing wrong? I am using the latest version of Pro scan.

You didn't describe exactly what is happening. I only can guess that the menu items are grayed out which means that a database file is not opened.

Open or create a new database.

ProScan is only displaying the subscription status from RR. ProScan can't change what is displayed. Have you contacted RR about this?

I had the same prob. with the 1969 expired membership thing from RR. I found out that if my feed is not "on-line" then that is the msg you get. I was told to put the feed back "on-line" to get the membership thing fixed so I could program my scanner to put my feed back "on-line"
