Help Audio recordings deleting

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this happen.
Every two to three days my audio recording's seem to disappear or being deleated, no one uses this computer but me, it has never happened before.
At the moment I'm backing up the recording's every 24 hours but it only started about a month ago, all recordings before June are OK but all of June's and so far up until 3rd July recordings have gone.
I've made no changes to Proscan settings or computer settings.
Proscan version 4.4.7, OS windows XP Home stand alone computer not networked.
Any help or advice would be great.

proscan has an option to set autodelete (overwrite) every X days

on the server go to options/general and fimd audio recorder (on the right)
set the location and also check the 'recording grid auto-delete' option to a number that suits
i have 90 days and it uses around 1.5gb of space

i guess if i missed the event and havent reviewed in 90 days, im not interested

the auto delete can also be set to OFF

Thank's for your help but it is still happening so I need to look at other causes as it never happened until last month and I keep the recording's for operational purposes if any legal or other issues happen within our volunteer fire group down the track.
I will just keep backing up daily if I can't find a cause, as I already back up any way but did it weekly.
